As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing beautiful moments of love in different parts of the world. However, there was something special about shooting Marketa and Arthur’s wedding in Kocanda, Kravsko in the Czech Republic. The Perfect Match
Marketa who was originally from the Czech Republic contacted me on Instagram. She was looking for an international wedding photographer who could fluently speak English and Czech. Arthur, our groom, was from Portugal but was currently living in Malta. He was bringing many international guests to the wedding who could only speak English. Therefore, I was the perfect fit for them both.
The Wedding Day
The entire wedding day was flawless. The weather turned out perfect, everything was on time, the ceremony was magnificent, and the wine was unbelievable. The wedding venue Kocanda and Stodola Suska are known to be in one of the best wine areas of the bohemian region. Therefore every wine served at the location is local. Moreover, not only the wine is local but also the food. For people who love organic, homemade food this is the perfect location for them to try out. I highly recommend it.
The Scenery
For photographers and cinematographers, the best time at this location is during sunset, at which point the entire property turns into this perfect scenery from Tuscany Italy. One could not tell a difference from the Italian region. The sun hits the venue just perfectly to create lovely portraits and this is what happened with Marketa and Arthur’s wedding, the results are timeless.
