Pre-Wedding Session :: New York City

Hi there! I’m Peter, a wedding photographer based in New York City. I’m thrilled to share with you some of the beautiful photos I took of Alexandra and David, a lovely couple who are getting married in June 2023. They wanted their engagement session to reflect their life and love in New York City, where they met and fell in love. Here’s their story.

Alexandra and David met at a mutual friend’s party in Manhattan. They hit it off right away and exchanged phone numbers. They soon discovered that they had a lot in common: they both loved traveling, music, and pizza. They also had different backgrounds that enriched their relationship: Alexandra’s parents came to New York from Slovakia to find a better life, while David moved from Ireland.

After a quick walk around the water, we went to Bow Bridge to capture the most beautiful bridge in Central Park. The bridge was unfortunelty not empty on a warm summery day so we had to use the space we had to make it work. The sunlight was just perfect on the spot we took pictures and there were so many perfect ones. It was such a pleasure to explore the narrow streets! 

We finally ended the session on the busy streets of the upper east side where the sun was setting. That beautiful golden glow was washing over the City. There were quite a few people walking and enjoying the nice weather. After the long days of quarantine and winter, it felt great to be outside in the city. The streets of New York were the feature point as we walked over the final location. Such a beautiful day to remember. Now that we have captured their love before the wedding, it’s time to start getting ready for the wedding day. Our first future step will be to create a bulletproof wedding timeline that will outline all phases of the wedding day. This will ensure that every phase will have enough time and my couple will be able to enjoy it. Im super excited to capture Alexandra & David’s wedding day, while they are the best.

It was such a pleasure to photograph Alexandra and David’s engagement session in Manhattan. They are such a sweet and genuine couple who radiate joy and love. I can’t wait to see them again on their wedding day and capture more memories for them to cherish.
