Amanda and Kevin had a beautiful wedding at a private golf club in New Jersey in September. But they wanted to take their portrait pictures in one of the most iconic locations in New York City: Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo. I was honored to be their wedding photographer and capture their love and happiness in these stunning settings. We started the day early in the morning, before the crowds and traffic, and headed to the Brooklyn Bridge. The bridge offers a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline and the East River, and it was the perfect backdrop for Amanda and Steve’s romantic and elegant style. They looked amazing in their wedding attire, and I loved how they smiled and kissed on the bridge.
After the bridge, we walked to Dumbo, a trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn that has a lot of character and charm. Dumbo stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, and it is a popular spot for wedding photos because of its cobblestone streets, brick buildings, and waterfront parks. We took some photos at Jane’s Carousel, a vintage carousel that adds a whimsical touch to the scenery. We also explored the streets and alleys of Dumbo, and found some popular locations that perfectly fitted our fine art style that Amanda wanted.
We ended the session at Pebble Beach, a small beach in Brooklyn Bridge Park that has a great view of the bridge and the city. Amanda and Steve looked so happy and relaxed, and I was glad to capture their genuine emotions and expressions.
I had a wonderful time photographing Amanda and Steve’s wedding portraits on Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo. They are such a lovely and fun couple, and I wish them all the best in their marriage.
